There are plenty of taxis at the airport and most of them are larger SUVs or people movers. A trip to the Divi Village Golf and Beach Resort will cost about USD 25 with a few extra dollars for baggage and will take about 15 minutes. The taxi line is right outside of baggage claims so you can’t miss it and the line may look long but it goes quickly! All taxis take US dollars.

This is about a 4 mile trip, but can take 20 minutes in traffic. If you are not used to roundabouts, just go slowly, and if you miss your turn no problem, just go around again!
Leave the airport via the large roundabout and take the exit on the roundabout on your left – Like making a left turn out of the airport, but you just have to go around the roundabout.
Continue along the ocean road to the second round about, and go through it towards town – technically the second exit on the round about, but really you are just going straight to continue along the ocean road.
Go through town – it will be crowded and slow here!
Spot the Valero gas station at the end of town, go straight.
Go through one last roundabout (Wendys will be on your right)
Take a left at the first light – large intersection (for future reference, if you were to go right here instead you would see the Ling & Sons grocery)
The Divi Village Golf and Beach Resort will be about 200 yards down on your right.
